My goodness, how time has flown by! This time last month, I was at the most beautiful yard in France, wearing a T shirt in the glorious summer sun & now… well now It is rather cold back in the UK. So I thought what better time to reminisce of my first international photo shoot, with a lovely lady & her horses.
It has been an ambition of mine for many years to start international photography and 2022 was the year I made it happen! After the uncertainty of Covid, when the opportunity presented itself to arrange a photo shoot in France, I leapt at the chance. This beautiful yard truly is breathtaking and Sanne (the owner) was an absolute delight to work with. I just had to create a blog about this truly magical photo shoot.
The first thing I just have to say is what amazing stables these are! horses upstairs?! I have never seen this before, but just how fantastic is this?! Stables with a view, what a lovely set up.
The inside of these stables are just as gorgeous as their exterior. We just had to feature this in the shoot & chose to use Sanne’s lovely mare Milkshake as she complemented the colour of the wood so beautifully.
Something I am unbelievably exited about with international photo shoots, is being able to capture the gorgeous architecture from around the world. This incredible shoot provided the most spectacular buildings by the bucketful.
This orchard, flooded with warm light, overlooking a stunning Château was a truly magical place to take photos.
Always time for a mid shoot snack.
Leading to the orchard, a beautiful tree lined track, with overhanging branches, creates a stunning corridor, with soft dappled light.
This beautifully sculpted tree instantly caught my eye & just framed Sanne and her gorgeous Stallion Action perfectly, as the golden hour light shone through the leaves.
To capture a selection of images, focusing on Action, we set up for some liberty shots. Some on the tree lined driveway and some later in the evening with the sunset glowing behind.
