As I arrived at the location, the air was filled with the sweet, earthy scent of fallen leaves. Nestled among the trees, the area was alive with the warm hues of orange, red, and gold, ideal for a whimsical autumn photoshoot. The gentle morning light, filtered through the trees, enhancing the golden colours even further.

Around 30 minutes into the shoot something happened, which was nothing short of enchanting. A mist started to roll in up the valley and settled among the trees. As the sun shone through the mist, the most breathtaking beams of light were created, shimmering through the tree canopy. This was light I had dreamed of for years, but predicting it can be so difficult. On this October morning, it happened & it truly was breathtaking.

One of the wonderful things about woodland shoots is finding beautiful textures – big old trees really feel like something from a fairytale.

Autumn, with its vivid landscapes and soft, golden light, provided the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot that truly felt like stepping into a storybook. It’s moments like these that remind us of the simple joys in life and the magic that can be found in nature.

As we concluded the photoshoot, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for magic nature brought to this shoot.
