I frequently share my frost and snow shoots with you throughout the winter, but today I wanted to share with you a classic winter photo shoot, from a day many would overlook as suitable for a photo shoot.
The 25th February 2024 – a thick mist had descended overnight – it was a day that could easily be referred to as “gloomy” – but as a photographer, I LOVE the atmosphere fog brings to images.

The winter layers, earthy tones and soft light all bring a cosy vibe to the images.

I absolutely love featuring natural textures as well as architecture on every shoot – Foggy mornings bring a beautiful depth to the photos, with objects in the foreground rich & full of contrast, while those further away begin to blend into the mist.

I hope you love the images captured on this shoot & that it may have convinced you of how beautiful winter is as a photo shoot season.
